This family run restaurant is a real gem. First time visiting il Chianti and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable and food was just as good. The tomato bruschetta was one of the best I’ve eaten. The main meals were all simply delicious. The pasta Puttanesca is definitely a must and the Veal in rich cream sauce was excellent, and if you’re not into meat dishes then give the tasty Gnocchi in rose cream sauce a try. il Chianti is a nice cozy restaurant with white linen on the tables. Be sure to try and make a reservation. Look forward to coming back.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible, and I haven't stopped thinking about the food since I left! Everything is made with love and every bite was amazing. It's a small space, but truly a jewel in the city. We ordered Fettuccine Angelo and Paradiso dishes, and had Tiramisu for dessert.

This restaurant was recommended to us. We were professionally greeted by Victoria. I had Vongole and hubby had the gnocchi. Both are delicious, SO GOOD! We definitely will recommend and be back although it’s quite a ways from us.

Il Chianti is a small, Mom &Pop Italian restaurant, with roughly 15 or so tables. It has been open for 20 years that I know of. The dining room is simple, clean, and tastefully decorated. The menu is small, the prices are reasonable. We ordered a Caprese salad to share, shrimp pasta arrabiata, pasta putanesca and affogato for desert. Bread and butter was served before the meal started. This, in my book, is worth a star. The salad, which we shared, was split and served on two different plates. Kudos to Lorenzo and team for the service. Both plates of pasta were excellent and the affogato desert was also tasty.

Absolutely amazing evening. Service, atmosphere and food were all perfect at this family owned and operated restaurant. Thanks for a wonderful evening. Many Gluten-free options are available and staff are very knowledgeable about what can and can’t be modified.

Great atmosphere. We came here on Friday 6:30, not overly busy. Food is top notch. We ordered calamari to start. It tastes very fresh, not rubbery at all, coated with tomatoe, garlic and onion sauce. It doesn't taste as greasy as the conventional deep fried breaded calamari. Carbonara is perfect! Although there are plenty of bacon (not pancetta), it doesn't taste oily at all. The parmigiano and egg give perfect saltiness and creaminess to the spaghetti.
